The overall width opening required needs to be an additional 30mm wider than the standard width size of the gate. This will allow 10mm space for the hinge side and 20mm space for the lock keep receiver.
E.g. Actual Gate Width 900mm + Hinge/Lock allowance 30mm* = Overall Width Required = 930mm
The overall height required needs to be a minimum of 100mm higher than the standard height size of the gate. This will allow 50mm space for the top hinge and 50mm for the bottom hinge.
E.g. Actual Gate Height 1800mm + Hinge allowance 100mm = Overall Height Required = 1900mm
