Description
Our Derbyshire timber garden gate epitomises elegance, with its timeless, traditional appeal to enhance any setting.
Derbyshire 3ft high timber garden gates are manufactured from vertical tongue-and-groove wooden boards within a strong 70mm framework, with their distinctive curving top rail and flat wooden space bars, all beautifully smooth-planed. We use time-proven mortise and tenon joints for optimum strength, rigidity and longevity. They are available as standard as right hand hanging (R) as viewed from the roadside but can be supplied as left hand hanging (L) on request (please call our sales team).
We supply our gates as natural wood or pressure treated or finished with a quality wood stain. Please see the options menu for prices and colours. We only use managed forest Scandinavian Redwood to make our gates, as part of our commitment to protecting the environment.
Timber gates are supplied untreated as standard, must be painted / treated with a good quality wood treatment after fitting. We can supply your gates with an optional wood stain, see the Options menu.
Please note the 2’6 gate only has 2 pales not 3 as on the description.

Please Note: All wooden posts are subject to splitting over tine, this is unfortunately a nature of timber, subject to weather conditions, however does not usually affect the integrity or strength of the wooden post. We will always review each issue on a case by case basis but a splitting post is not an automatic reason for a claim to replace the post. The customer purchases the post knowing the risks of using wood.
