Description
A quality wooden garden gate, reminiscent of the cottage garden gates of yesteryear, our Gloucester design is an absolute classic that looks perfect in any setting.
Gloucester timber garden gates are handcrafted from vertical tongue-and-groove wooden boards within a strong 70mm framework, smooth-planed, with time-proven mortise and tenon joints for maximum rigidity, strength and durability. Made-to-Measure sizes available on request. They are available as standard as right hand hanging (R) as viewed from the roadside but can be supplied as left hand hanging (L) on request (please call our sales team).
We use Scandinavian redwood to make our timber garden gates, as part of our commitment to protecting the environment. We supply our gates as natural wood or finished with an optional quality wood stain. Please see the options menu for prices and colours.
Please note the 2’6 wide gate only contains 2 pales not 3 as in the illustration.

Please Note: All wooden posts are subject to splitting over tine, this is unfortunately a nature of timber, subject to weather conditions, however does not usually affect the integrity or strength of the wooden post. We will always review each issue on a case by case basis but a splitting post is not an automatic reason for a claim to replace the post. The customer purchases the post knowing the risks of using wood.
